The "Stairway to Nowhere" which was built back in the 1970's does not exist any longer. The structure was removed due to damage and safety concerns a few years ago. The original stairway allowed access to Elmer Ross Beach, which lies below the Ventana Grill, located in Pismo Beach, California.
