Falcon Nine Launch_Pre-Dawn 20250124_Portrait - Metal Print

Liftoff of the Starlink 11-6 mission from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) happened at 6:07 a.m. PST (9:07 a.m. EST, 1407 UTC).

SpaceX reused the booster 1063, which then landed for the 23rd time on the SpaceX drone ship, "Of Course I Still Love You". You can see the re-entry booster below the plume as a small streak in this photo.

The photo was taken from the cliffs along Pismo Beach, and the Pismo Pier, is located in the lower center of this photo. The bright light at the top is the near full moon. From my vantage point the rocket looked like it went over the moon. I also have a horizontal version of this launch.
