Located near Lucia on State Route 1, this bridge first opened for traffic in 1938. One of the bridges built during the Great Depression, it was partially funded by the Works Progress Administration. The designer of this bridge was Christian Theophil Gutleben. He was noted for his reinforced concrete arch bridges throughout the California Coast. The bridge is 589 feet long.
